01. My Thoughts on Project Management
Thinking about writing my thoughts on project management for quite sometime.
Let me start it today. In this blog.. I am trying to write the way I think a project manager should perform his duties.
Simple thoughts.. very practical examples and situational questions and answers.
My strength in explaining things in a seminar or a training class is to immediately relate activities to a practical example.
The examples or contexts I quote are always from day-to-day life and people could easily relate the concept to incidents that are close to events occurring in their neighborhood or in their family or friends family.
This blog is not for advanced project managers. Anybody new to the project management can easily follow my thoughts.
By the way, I am a PMI certified Project Management Professional and a practising project manager in a Big 3 consulting firm. I have a Masters in Mathematics and a Masters in Computer Science and Data Processing from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) one of the prestigious institutes of India. I have 18 years of experience in IT. I have worked for major banks and financial institutions in US and have consulted with big 3 consulting companies.
Small and big I would have executed projects for more than $400 million dollars.
I will try to post at least three posts a week. Let us see where this goes.
